2000-2009  ZORAN Toronto Lab.
  • Video Enhancement algorithm, brightness correction, contrast and the edge enhancement.  Development of algorithm on Matlab. Design and Spec of HDTV-DVD "i77" validation system to test the new HDXtreme chip. Verification of HDXtreme to test all the functionality of the chip; PLL, DAC, PHY, Scaler, Encoder and SD2HD. 
Video Enhancement algorithm
  • Hardware design and system integration, Development of test station VIP II for video decoder and encoder core. Design of inputs and outputs of test station Composite video, S-video, VGA, RGB and components for progressive scan video. Creating a hardware composition to test DVI (TMDS) on FPGA. Testing and preparing of Verilog code using Altera FPGA Express and Quartus compiler.
  • Standard test and calibrations using Tektronix VM5000HD, VM700T, Logic Analyzer TLA612, Oscilloscopes DPO 4104, TDS 3054; LoCroy 104MXI; SysMedia 1033TTX & 1033CC, Agilent E4402B Spectrum Analyzer, Quantum Data HDMI analyzer 802BT & 882CA, ShibaSoku TG39BC, TG45AX, TG35CX & TG19CC; Rohde & Schwarz and Fluke generators.
